Special Events & Partnerships

In addition to our monthly open mic series, SpeakeasyDC produces several original performances each year such as Sucker for Love Valentine’s Special and Mommie Dearest Mother’s Day Special. We also partner with other organizations to produce shows like The Party’s Over: Stories about Old Money, Loose Morals, & the Blues for The Big Read, a national program funded by the NEA and the Humanities Council of Washington; and Chocolate Jesus, Revenge of the Cat-Headed Baby and Other True Tales of Life & Death, and The Sin Show as part of the Capital Fringe Festival.
